There's always gonna be another mountain. I'm always gonna wanna make it move. Always gonna have an uphill battle. Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose. Ain't about how fast I get there. Ain't about what's waiting on the other side. It's

The Wanted Album Augmented Performance
Tuesday, October 25, 2011 @ 10/25/2011 10:59:00 AM

All this are from The Wanted's first album. While waiting for their second, Battleground, I thought I might just do something fun. Besides, my blog is lacking some Wanted love, with all the One Direction craziness happening.

So, let's rate & critic. Countdown begins.

5) Siva Kaneswaran - The End Where I Begin (The Script)

Ohhh, his high notes are just heaven. & the fact he plays the guitar is awesome. & it is a song from The Script! Yes Siva, we know you are an Irish. ;D But it is no wonder he does not get many solos. His singing voice is very soft compared to the others. Thus, allowing him to only sing background. But that dos not mean he must never get a solo. This video proves he can sing, not well but great. Let's just pray that he gets a solo in a song in Battleground.

4) Nathan Sykes - Just The Way You Are (Bruno Mars)

The 2nd least best among the rest. Not a fan of Bruno too. I know most of you are going to hate me. But hear me out. He defo can sing. Oh, God. I mean definitely. Especially the chorus part when his voice gets cracky. That is like, whoa. In a positive way. Brownie points for using a keyboard & being awesome playing it! Though, he needs to tone down his movements a bit. Does look like he's drunk, doen't he? Hahah, nahh. I am sure it's just his feelings. 1:21-1:29, best part.

3) Tom Parker - Handbags & Gladrags (Stereophonics)

Firstly, I did not know the song. So, I did not know what to expect. So, I checked out the lyircs & really, the song is so meaningful. I did not understand it at first under Tom's awesome singing. The line, 'The handbags and the gladrags, that your poor old Grandad had to sweat to buy you', is the best. The way he sings at some parts with so much angst, then with so much vulnerability, puts him at third place. & also the fact that the song is different.

2) Max George - When You Look Me In The Eyes (Jonas Brothers)

MAX GEORGE SINGING A JONAS BROTHERS' SONG, WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR? Huge fan of JB (Jonas Brothers, not Justin Beiber). This song was extremely popular when it came out & Istiana & I especially loved this song. But they never came to Singapore or Asia, for that matter. That was when our love for them died down. When their 3D concert came out in the cinemas, we did not even bother to see. Then, Kevin got married. Then, Nick & Joe went their solo, with Nick Jonas & The Administration & Joe Jonas alone as himself. Oh well, Max brought the JB experience back & that lands him at number 2, especially with his singing.

1) Jay McGuiness - The Fear (Lily Allen)

OHH, HIS VOICE IS SO DIFFERENT. His voice has the cracky-ness as well as the softness. That is the reason why he always gets the minor solo part in most songs, if not singing background. This music video totally shows his singing talent. & the song choice is awesome. Oh, & Jay's solo in warzone is AWESOMEEEEE. Cannot wait for the full song. In fact, I cannot wait for the album, altogether.

Alright, that's enough of The Wanted.

Or, maybe not. ♥
