J-14 Teen Icon Awards 2011 - Iconic Heart Wednesday, October 26, 2011 @ 10/26/2011 10:41:00 AM
Okay, here's what I found out about the artists' campaign for their own cause.
Jonathan Cook - To Write Love on Her Arms
Jonathan Cook from Forever The Sickest Kids collaborates with To Write Love On Her Arms, a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. I cannot find a video that shows him personally involved in the movement but read the article here.
Justin Bieber - Pencils of Promise
Justin Bieber is campaigning for global education because everybody deserves an education no matter their social status, nationality or gender. This organisation bulids schools for children all over the world, especially in the developing countries.
Miley Cyrus - Starkey Hearing Foundation
With their motto of 'So The World Can Hear', Miley personally goes to Haiti to help the people who have lost their hearing aids during the earthquake. This is very close to her heart because without hearing, she would never be able to sing.
These are only 3 nominees! Cody Simpson, Daniella Monet & Demi Lovato are also nominated in this category.

Okay, here's what I found out about the artists' campaign for their own cause.
Cody Simpson - Defeat The Label
Cody is doing an anti-status quo campaign. About not fitting in, about being different & not accepted in school or in a community. He was a loner back in Australia, being the music dude. Whoa, since when was music uncool?
Daniella Monet - PETA
Ahh, being vegan is really something. She campaigning about against animal dissecting in schools. Which, in my opinion, is something very unnecessary when there are alternatives. She cried when she was asked to dissect in 4th grade. Bless her.
Demi Lovato - Love Is Louder Than The Pressure To Be Perfect
She was bullied in school because of her weight & other reasons. This continued to affect her even when she became a Disney star. Then her breakdown caused her to cancel her tour & go to rehab. She came out stronger & more confident of herself. & she does not want others to go through the difficult journey she has. Sorry, I cannot find a better video to show the message.

The Jonas Brothers relives Tuesday, October 25, 2011 @ 10/25/2011 01:11:00 PM
I SWEAR, I FORGOT HE WAS DIABETIC.
OMG, I MISS THE JONAS BROTHERS.
Okay, thanks to Max George for singing When You Look Me In The Eyes. I decided to check out what the JoBros are doing now.
Look what I have found for Nick.
Ohhh, the J-14 Teen Icon Awards 2011. Whoa, iconic couple. For couples dating or have dated in 2011? So, if they broke up & they won, wouldn't it be awkward? That's just sad. Ohh, wait. Nick can dance?
& Joe?
So, he's already doing his Fast Life Tour.
So, what about Kevin?
HE GOT MARRIED. FULLSTOP.
Oh, I found a video of them on BBC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Cannot find the full version though. Here's the preview.
OMG. I miss them. & the song, A Little Bit Longer was such a hit back then.
Here's the clip from their 3D Concert. OMG. I cried, I swear.
'This song, is for every broken heart, for every lost dream, for every high, for every low, for every person who's ever felt alone. & tonight, this song, this song's for you.' - Nick Jonas
'Now here's what I want you to do. I want you to clap your hands. There you go. & I want you to sing this out with me as loud as you can. With all of your heart, with all of your soul.' - Nick Jonas
OMG. I bet everybody at the concert was too emotional to even join in. I would be crying my eyes out if I was there.
I wish the Jonas Brothers would do a comeback tour. & please come to Singapore.
